New features and changes released in update packages for RocketSCAN version 4.14 are listed below.

New Features

Accelerated Validation for online forms

There is a new User Preference option in Validation that reduces the tasks to only the student section and the summary page when validating an online meal application or income form.
If you use the contact information from RocketSCAN forms for your Point of Sale system, it’s better not to use this feature.

New Income Form Reports

The Income Form Reports wizard now has 2 additional reports:
  1. SIS reports: These reports are formatted as ready-to-import files to either Aeries or PowerSchool using their existing tools.
  2. Historical report: Review changes to eligibility as well as the date it occurred and reason.

Skip application or income form in Validation queue

You can now skip to the next application or income form in your Validation queue. The items that were skipped will be returned to the top the next time Validation is launched.
To use this feature, you will need to enable it under your User Preferences in the Validation module.

Support for Emancipated children on income forms

Income forms for students that are emancipated will not require a signature or income information from an adult household member or guardian.

Transfer non-student with missing ID number to household section

The Missing ID interface now includes an option to transfer the selected child to the household member section instead of having to find and the application from the Hold queue.

Changes

Data Source drop-down at login

If your district has multiple RocketSCAN systems (example: separate databases for meal applications and income forms), you will be able to view and select which system to log into.

Expanded image pane view for income ranges

If your income form design utilizes the simplified design, Validation now shows a wider view of the application image during the household income task to accommodate all income range design options.

Offline/Online settings for the online form includes time selection

You can now configure the exact time you would like your RocketSCAN online form to be enabled or disabled using the Online Wizard. Previously, it would go offline or online at midnight in the time zone of the server that hosts your website.
