DC Reduced Option for RocketScan FMA

Availability of this function is dependent on support from your Point of Sale.

RocketScan is able to be configured to support DC Reduced (or DC Medicare Reduced Status). If a student has been flagged as "Direct Certified - Reduced", then RocketScan will attempt to predict the meal status outcome of the application during Validation and may show the following dialog box after the application summary:

 

The dialog box will show the estimated benefit with the option to either “Send to POS” or “Move to DC Reduced”.  

Choosing "Send to POS" allows the application data to be exported to your Point of Sale. Your Point of Sale system's import procedure and settings will determine the meal status for the students on the application.

You should consult with your Point of Sale on the effects of importing applications for a student that is already flagged as DC Reduced.

The "Move to DC Reduced" option will prevent the application from going to export. Instead, you will find the application under the "Not Exported Due To DC Reduced" tab in Application Management.
