Subquery returned more than 1 value

Subquery returned more than 1 value

Problem

When you attempt to run the Income Form Reports wizard, you get a long error message that starts with the following:

Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <=, >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

Solution

This error occurs because you have processed income forms for students that have multiple records in your RocketScan Student Database, but they all have the same student number. For example:

In this example a student appears in the student lookup table twice, but has different grade levels.

This problem must be corrected at the source before it can be fixed in RocketScan. First, remove the extraneous records from wherever your RocketScan is obtaining student information (usually a Point of Sale software) and then Refresh the RocketScan Student Database.

If the problem persists, contact Image One software support; additional steps may be required.

Image one software support will need access to your RocketScan server to troubleshoot this issue.
